According to report, Eberechi Eze is set to join Arsenal in a deal that could be worth up to £67.5 million. The deal is said to be a guaranteed £60 million, with an additional £7.5 million in add-ons.

This transfer comes after Arsenal reportedly hijacked a move that Tottenham Hotspur had seemingly agreed upon. Tottenham had been in talks with Crystal Palace and felt they had a deal in place for the player. However, following a knee injury to Arsenal’s Kai Havertz, the Gunners reignited their interest in 27 year old, Eze and made a successful push to secure his signature.

Eze, who was a boyhood Arsenal fan and was released from their academy at age 13, is expected to undergo his medical as soon as Friday. Crystal Palace’s manager, Oliver Glasner, has confirmed that Eze will play in their upcoming Conference League playoff match, but reports suggest this will be his final game for the club before completing the move.
